WESTFORD, Mass., 22. August 2017 – NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC., (NASDAQ: NTCT), a leading provider of business assurance, a powerful combination of service assurance, cybersecurity, and business intelligence solutions, today announced it was named one of the 2017 Top Charitable Contributors in Massachusetts based on research by the Boston Business Journal (BBJ).

“NETSCOUT has a long tradition of supporting our employees and communities through our charitable activities. Being active corporate citizens continues to be an important part of our culture,” said Michael Szabados, chief operating officer, NETSCOUT. “We are pleased to be recognized among the top charitable contributors in Massachusetts for the fifth consecutive year.”

Launched in Juli 2010, NETSCOUT’s Heart of Giving program encourages employees to initiate projects and build volunteer teams to create positive change in their own communities. Programs include individual matching gifts and volunteer grants, disaster relief, community grants, non-profit board leadership, team volunteer grants and corporate charitable contributions.

"This year’s Corporate Charitable Contributors list is the largest the Boston Business Journal has ever assembled. We are incredibly proud of the 94 companies that qualified for the list. They are all outstanding examples of the impact and importance of giving back," said Boston Business Journal market president and publisher Carolyn Jones.

The region's top charitable companies, which include in many instances the companies' corporate foundations, will be honored at the BBJ's 12th Annual Corporate Citizenship Awards the evening of Sept. 7 at Fenway Park in Boston.
